PLEIN AIR PAINTING

Plein air painting is a technique in which we leave our studio behind and experience the landscape around us. This practice was truly made into an art form by French Impressionists such as Caude Monet and Auguste Renoir. Learn about impressionism and how you can apply it to your own landscape painting of the great outdoors.

Ceramic Makers Market

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH 10AM-2PM

Start your holiday shopping early! Visitors will find one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gifts made by local artisans, including our open studio artists, instructors and students from the Artists’ Exchange.

Customers can freely browse the market and get to know the artists at each table. Choose from a variety of ceramic pieces, including functional ware, sculptures, garden art, and holiday decorations. Each piece is unique and carefully created, making the perfect gift for the holiday season.

In attending the market, customers are not only purchasing art but also investing in creativity, inclusion, and community connection.

Proceeds from the market will go directly back to each artist, with a percentage of their table reservation going towards Artists’ Exchange, supporting our nonprofits’ programs, and empowering all individuals through art and creative opportunities.

ONCE UPON A STARRY NIGHT

Talk about the stars and patterns in the sky and create artwork inspired by your favorite constellation. As we also examine the famous painting Starry Night, perhaps there is a constellation in this painting.
