Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will
complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme,
culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of
an installation at our 5th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in
September.
FULL DAY (9am-3pm): 7-12 yr. olds/$198.75 per week with discount*

Week 1: June 25-29 SUMMER IN THE CITY
Artists are inspired by their surroundings. From subways
to sky high murals, using inspiration from city life, campers will paint,
sculpt and erect a city from the pavement to the sky. Week 2: Try two shortened art camps offered due to the mid-week holiday! ART CLIP 2A:July 2-3New! ART CLIP 2B: July 5-6New! An enriching way to balance out a hot and busy summer week. Attend one or more
of our two day camps packed with painting, drawing, sculpting and crafts. Take

Week 3: July 9-13 DESIGN A SUPERHERO
Ever feel like some days you could do just about anything? Maybe you are a
superhero! Inspired by the likes of Wonder Woman and Batman and create your own
superhero identity with a mask and costume ready to save the world. Who will
you become?
Week 4: July 16-20 RAINFOREST EXPLORATION
Plan a trip through forests and jungles. Track your exploration in your art
journal as you search for and create exotic animals. You never know what you
will find. Look hard enough and you might just discover a whole new type of

Week 5: July 23-27 UNDER THE SEA
Sharks, jellyfish, whales, maybe even mermaids.Create a sea of creatures armed with paint, clay, and
recycled materials and before you know it, you will not be in art camp anymore.

Hunt for sunken treasures on the high seas. Climb the highest peak in search of
glory. Adventures await you as you build a kingdom full of discovery,

Week 7: Aug 6-10 MAGICAL ARTISTS
Imagine yourself as a witch or wizard. Building your own magic wand, compile a
spell book and mix potions, all within the walls of our magical school of art. HALF DAY

What can you create using recycled materials and imagination? ANYTHING!
Discover the many uses of a milk carton, create just about anything with plastic

Week 9: Aug 20-24 MEET THE ARTIST III
Back by popular demand for a third year - more artists! If you missed out in
previous summers, or just cannot get enough, here is your opportunity to
immerse yourself in the explorations of the masters by recreating and emulating
famous and influential art and artists. Week 10: Try a shortened art camp... last chance before school starts! ART CLIP 10C: Aug 27-28New! An enriching way to end the summer. Attend this two day camp packed with
painting, drawing, sculpting and crafts. Take a few days before heading back to
school and let your creativity run wild. Please note that
due to the length of the art clips, there will be no showcase or

TEEN CERAMICS SUMMER PROGRAMS
TEEN CERAMICS PLUS | A camp designed for young adults with a focus on ceramics - Under the guidance of a professional ceramics artist, immerse yourself in clay studio studies, from wheel throwing and surface design, including underglazes, glazes and textures, as well as hand building. Learn the technical aspects of ceramics, from recycling clay and slab work to the use of equipment such as the extruder and the proper way to load a kiln. Participants will also have an opportunity to learn how to photograph their work.

WHEEL THROWING FOCUS | Build your skills during this one week intensive camp focused solely on wheel throwing. Spend tons of time on the wheel centering, throwing basic cylinder forms, learning how to transform them into cups and bowls! This is a skill-building camp with an emphasis on practice versus production. Not all pieces will be fired.

THEATER CAMPS

From story and character to staging and set design, participants will explore all aspects of developing a full-scale theatrical production by immersing themselves in each role through fun yet intensive workshops, culminating in a performance for friends and family.

Ages 9-17
This camp offers a true Rock & Roll experience: Study some of the many icons that brought the music to the masses and get your hands dirty shredding guitars, pounding basses, hitting the skins, screaming anthems and even trying your hand at writing original music. Instruments and experience welcome but not required. The last few days will be dedicated to refining the arrangements and adding the performance element. While on stage with your band, learn how to interact with each other as well as with the audience. Students will perform live for friends and family in an all-ages afternoon concert on the final day. Some highlights of this camp include but are not limited to:

Learning about Songwriting
Making a Music Video
