Introduction to Acting for Adults - Richard Morra $150.00
3/3-4/21 or 5/5-6/30  -  Monday 6:30 - 8 pm  -  Age(s): Adults
Using scenes and monologues from contemporary plays, each student will enjoy learning how to bring characters to life in a safe and caring environment. Students who take this class are encouraged to audition for our main stage productions to test their abilities in an actual play. The session will end with a performance for family and friends.
 
Children
Children's Theatre - Rich Morra $150.00
3/3-4/21 or 5/5-6/30  -  Monday 4:00 - 5:30 pm  -  Age(s): 8-12
Children explore the craft of acting through different games and exercises, which focus on each students individual needs. Beginning students will focus on introductory concepts, while more advanced students will concentrate on detailed technique according to their ability. The session will end with a performance for family and friends.
 
Improvisational Storytelling - Rich Morra $125.00
3/7-4/25 or 5/9-6/27  -  Friday 4 - 5 pm  -  Age(s):  6-9
Students will learn the art of storytelling through improvisational techniques. The session will end with an improvisational storytelling. Family and friends are invited.
 
Introduction to Digital Video - Matt Colicci $150.00
3/6-4/24 or 5/8-6/26  -  Thursday 4 - 5:30 pm  -  Age(s): 2-15
From screenwriting to editing, this course provides a beginning film-maker with the basic skills and knowledge needed to make a short film. Students will work together to write a script and will then assume various production roles to bring the story to life. The session will wrap with a glimpse into the editing process. Family and friends will be invited for a special screening after post-production is completed.
 
Playwriting - Jill Bevins $195.00
3/6-4/24 or 5/8-6/26  -  Thursday 6 - 8 pm  -  Age(s):  14-18
Students learn the basics of playwriting in a workshop style class with opportunities for actors, writers, and budding directors through a series of exercises, readings, and rehearsals. Students will create their own original work in a collaborative environment. The session will end with staged readings for family and friends.
 
Shakespeare I - Jill Bevins $195.00
3/6-4/24 or 5/8-6/26  -  Thursday 4 - 6 pm  -  Age(s):  14-18
Students access the power of Shakespeare, beginning with comprehension and use of poetic language, and culminating in scene and monologue work applying and strengthening their acting skills. The session will end with a performance for family and friends.
 
Teen Acting - Rich Morra $150.00
3/4-4/22 or 5/6-6/24  -  Tuesday 4:30 - 6 pm  -  Age(s): 13-18
This class gets into more detailed work, which focuses on elements of method acting that will be tailored to the individual needs of each student. Concentrating on the physical and analytical approaches to acting, students will choose their own works to study and perform. The session ends with a performance for family and friends.
