Art Company - The Art Company is the
visual arts component of the Artists' Exchange.
At the Art Company people of all ages can enjoy
a 6 week long art class in a variety of mediums
including: drawing, painting, crafts, cartooning,
book making, stained glass, pottery, jewelry making,
carving and sewing. Classes are offered year round.
The Art Company also offers school and group programs,
field trips to the Art Company, girls night out
private art gatherings for woman, birthday parties,
and summer camps.

Classes
The Art Company offers a wide variety of Art Classes
for both Adults and Children. Students can sign up
for one of our 8 six-week sessions, all year round.
Classes are available in drawing, painting, crafts,
carving, pottery (hand building or wheel throwing),
Batik, classes run from 1 to 3 hours and meet 1 time
per week. Classes are designed to challenge the student
and allow for an exploration of many art mediums.
Class prices average $15 an hour and usually include
material costs. (Classes w/material fee are noted
in our catalogue)
Our highly qualified teachers come to us with strong
studio and educational experience. All teachers must
clear a BCI check before they work at the Artist Exchange.

Adult Classes
Workshops
Workshops are available year round and can be found
in our catalogue. Workshops are designed for the student
who would love to explore an art form but cannot commit
to 6 weeks. The same level of instruction is available
in our classes and taught by our highly qualified
instructors.
Birthday Parties
Art Company Birthday Parties are a CREATIVE BLAST!
Our parties include: an art project of your choice,
a giant birthday card mural, use of our giant chalkboard,
and a separate space within the studio for you to
enjoy any refreshments you bring. Craft choices include-Treasure
boxes jewelry boxes, felt pillows, canvas painting,
mask making, fairy wings, fairy wands, and crowns.
The cost for these are $150 for up to 10 children,
each additional child$10. Clay party-build a clay
plate, color w/clay glazes, we will fire at the Art
Company, finished plates must be picked up 10 days
after party. The price is $200 for up to 10 children-$10
each additional child.
Girls Night Out
Girls Nights out are a wonderfully bonding and creative
time for any group of women to spend together. Choose
from a variety of one-night art and or craft programs.
Gather a group of up to 20 friends, bring your own
refreshments, and dress for a mess. Women can participate
in a one-night 3-hour class of pottery, stained glass,
scrap booking, or jewelry. This includes room rental,
instructor, and all materials. So call your friends,
leave instructions for your hubby, and come relax
and renew at the Art Company! A $50 non- refundable
deposit must be paid within one week of booking your
night out. A 5-person minimum is required to run an
evening.
Special Events
The Art Company hosts several special events each
year including, the annual holiday art event, and
student shows in our gallery.
